Adding Objects to a Form

Once the Record Source has been identified, Access provides the ability to easily drop objects onto the form. In the toolbar near the top of the page, click on the button called Field List. (In the example below, it is located directly under Adobe PDF. It looks like a piece of paper with writing on it.)

When you Outgrow Access

Auto Center

If you click on the Auto Center, a drop down arrow will appear to the right of the field. If you click on the arrow, two values will appear for your selection. You can select from options Yes or No.

Design View

You are viewing the form in what is called Design View.

Default View

If you click on the Default View field, a drop down arrow will appear to the right of the field. If you click on the arrow, three values will appear for your selection. You can select from Single Form, Continuous Forms, or Datasheet.
